The Young Embryologist Network was set up in 2008 by PhD students in the
University College London (UCL) Research Department of Cell & Developmental Biology under the
guiding hand of Dr Yoshiyuki Yamamoto. The purpose of the network came from a desire to improve
communication in the research environment for PhD and Post-Doc embryologists.
UCL has been the host for the first two Young Embryologist Meetings, YEM:2008 & YEM:2010.
YEM:2011, hosted at King's College London was a great success with over 100 participants from
many UK and international institutions.
We aim to gather together PhD students and research scientists working in the field of
embryology and we hope that the Young Embryologist Network will continue to expand and evolve
in the future.
To join YEN and get involved, see the 'Contacts'
section on the website...
